Stephanie Skelly, Esq., a Director of The Mara Group, assists law firm clients across the country and abroad with their legal staffing needs. She has successfully placed attorneys at all levels and across a wide range of practice areas including investment management/funds, finance, mergers & acquisitions, private equity, capital markets, restructuring, and litigation.

Prior to joining The Mara Group, Stephanie practiced law for close to a decade with one of the preeminent restructuring boutiques in the country and was recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers magazine. Her experience includes representing debtors and creditors in high profile bankruptcy cases including Chrysler LLC, General Motors Corporation, Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc., Eastman Kodak Company, Relativity Media, Loehmann’s Holdings Inc., Nortel Networks Inc., Our Lady of Mercy Medical Center, and Fortunoff Fine Jewelry & Silverware, LLC. She remains active within the restructuring community and is a former member of the Junior Advisory Board for Her Justice, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free legal services to low income women in New York City.

Stephanie received her J.D., cum laude, from Pace University School of Law, where she was the Editor in Chief of the Pace International Law Review. She received her B.A. in American Studies from Fordham University.

Stephanie resides in Connecticut with her husband and three children.
