Gail Hyman, Esq. is a Director of the Mara Group. Gail places and advises attorneys at all levels across a broad range of practice areas at premier law firms, boutiques and in-house roles nationwide.

Prior to joining the Mara Group, Gail was a Director at another leading search firm in Manhattan and practiced as a bankruptcy attorney for several years in the New York offices of Willkie Farr & Gallagher and WilmerHale. In addition, she frequently represented LGBTQ+ individuals in asylum cases and was recognized by the Legal Aid Society for her contributions in pro bono service. Prior to her career as a lawyer, Gail worked in the arts, including in the curatorial department at the Whitney Museum of American Art.

Gail received her J.D. from NYU School of Law and her B.A. in Art History from Duke University. Gail resides in Brooklyn with her incredibly spoiled German Shepherd.
