Jennifer Coffey is a Director at the Mara Group and has been a trusted recruiting advisor for over a decade, representing attorneys at all levels and in all of the major US cities. Jenn has a profound respect for the importance of careers and practice-growth, and forms long-term relationships as she works closely with both clients and candidates to thoughtfully advise on moves and team-additions. The strengths she leans on most are her listening skills, industry-knowledge, honesty, and work ethic as she’s hustled to best utilize her extensive network to achieve desired results.

Jenn began her career as a member of recruiting and legal personnel teams within Sullivan & Cromwell, Simpson Thacher and Dewey & LeBoeuf, where she gained significant insight into the business side of law firms and how integral it is for firms to grow practices with the right lateral additions. She has spent most of her legal recruiting career with the Mara Group, and has also gained experience with two additional elite search firms where she briefly concentrated on partner and group placements.

Jenn earned a B.A. degree from Smith College in Art History, with post-baccalaureate coursework in pre-medical sciences at Columbia University, where she also worked and conducted research in biology and organic chemistry labs.
